Job Description

LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Powershell Developer for a client in Kansas City, Mo. This is a contract to hire position. Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled PowerShell Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining automation scripts to improve and streamline our operational workflows. You will work closely with system administrators and other IT professionals to develop scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, code, and test PowerShell scripts.

• Automate routine tasks to enhance system efficiency.

• Maintain and update existing PowerShell scripts as needed.

• Collaborate with IT staff to integrate scripts with existing systems.

• Document code changes, script functions, and processes.

• Troubleshoot and debug script-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation.

• Experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of additional scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and APIs.
